Every Friday I share some of my favourite things from that week: articles, music, videos, books, food, makeup - pretty much anything goes - and I am very willing to admit I "stole" this idea from the wonderful Gala Darling and her "Things I Love Thursday."
First a recap from the past week…

#1 – THIS commercial from Multigrain Cheerios.
Seriously I can’t say enough about this ad! And it actually made me go out and buy a big box of Cheerios just to support the company – and now I’m hooked! I’ve seen so many commercials where brands are trying to show they “promote” body positivity while still completely missing the point (blah Special K, anyone?). But this commercial shows that Cheerios gets it. And I was thrilled when I first saw it and still get excited whenever it comes on. I intend to write a more extensive blog about this soon, but for now, watch it and go buy some Cheerios to support them, guys!

#3 – “Everything You Need to Know about Exfoliation”
There are so many different opinions about exfoliating and what is “too much” or “not enough” and what type of exfoliation to use for what type of skin etc etc And of course everyone you talk to has their own opinion. I found THIS article super helpful. In case you’re wondering, I’m of the theory to choose one form of exfoliation (scrub, AHA/BHA product, manual tool e.g. face cloth, Clarisonic etc..) and use it 1-2 each week. I have oily skin prone to dehydration that is sensitive to over scrubbing, so I use the Clarins gentle exfoliating cream 2 times per week.
and along the same lines…
#4 THIS article: 10 Myths and Misconceptions About Skin Care”
This totally made me rethink how I approach skincare, and since reading it, and applying the theories, I’ve noticed a huge improvement in my skin. (If you’d like me to do a skincare blog/video, let me know in the comments!)
#5 – Need help with applying blush?
