Friday’s Favourites: POUTINE!

Every Friday I share some of my favourite things from that week: articles, music, videos, books, food, makeup - pretty much anything goes - and I am very willing to admit I "stole" this idea from the wonderful Gala Darling and her "Things I Love Thursday."

First a recap from the past week[s]…

(it’s been awhile, but from this month on I promise to be more consistent!)…

Now on to my favourites…

#1 – This Crossfit Article: The good, the bad, and some things to consider

I am so grateful to my former Professor, Andrew Heming, for doing this interview on Libero Network all about Crossfit. His views are very balanced and he offers some tips on approaching Crossfit from a healthy, balanced perspective and also offers some alternatives to Crossfit that may be *better*. Check it out here

#2 – This video on Diet Myths

Scales do not measure health!

#3 – This post from the book “13 Reasons Why”

“You don’t know what goes on in anyone’s life but your own. And when you mess with one part of a person’s life, you’re not messing with just that part. Unfortunately, you can’t be that precise and selective. When you mess with one part of a person’s life, you’re messing with their entire life. Everything . . . affects everything.”

#4 – How to Clean Almost Anything and Everything (thanks, BuzzFeed)

From ear buds, to Clarisonic brush heads, to cheese graters, BuzzFeed’s got you covered!

Because, seriously, who doesn’t love poutine?!
