Friday’s Favourites: Gyoza Soup, Swimsuits, + LOST

Every Friday I share some of my favourite things from that week: articles, music, videos, books, food, makeup – pretty much anything goes – and I am very willing to admit I “stole” this idea from the wonderful Gala Darling and her “Things I Love Thursday.

First a recap from the past week[s]…

(it’s been awhile, but from I promise to be more consistent now that I’ve done some schedule re-organizing and such!)…

Now on to my favourites…

IMG_0019As many of you know, I am more than slightly obsessed with Kiss Me Deadly lingerie and oh my goodness look what they just released as part of their new swimwear collection! *insert heart eye emoji*

They also rock as a company and we featured them on Libero Network in a Body Positive Spotlight interview.

#2 – This article.

“I want to punch clean eating in the face” << YES!

excerpt:

“Trust your body. Focus on balance, and not on perfection. Extremism never pays off. Enjoy food in great variety. Take time to taste the food you are eating. Be grateful for it. Listen to your body. Don’t over-eat. Don’t under-eat. Get outside. And most importantly, remember that eating chocolate cake won’t make you dirty. Unless you are a two year old.”

#3 – Gyoza Soup

Seriously–who wouldn’t love this? The perfect remedy when you’re feeling “under the weather” as well.

#4 – Jezebel wins again!

I LOL’d so hard! And then went and saw the movie and got very, very depressed (blog will be up next week). “This is Your Brain on the Fifty Shades of Grey Trilogy” (warning: very course language at points, because Jezebel).

#5 – LOST

Guys, I’ve been watching LOST again because it’s on Netflix and OMG I’m hooked. I’ve already seen the first half a couple of times, but have only watch the series through to the end once. I am picking up on so much! So if you haven’t watched yet, DO, and if you have, re-watch because it will blow. your. mind.

And your WTF moment…
