Friday’s Favourites: Nail Polish Heaven!

Ok, so like I mentioned in a previous post, every Friday I will be sharing with you guys my favourite things from that week: articles, music, videos, books, food, makeup – pretty much anything goes! And as I mentioned before, I am also very willing to admit I “stole” this idea from the wonderful Gala Darling and her “Things I Love Thursday.

So without further adieu, here are the things I’m loving this week…

#1: L’Oreal Color Riche Nail Polish

L'oreal color riche nail polishI am absolutely in love with this nail polish! The colours are amazing, the brush is amazing, the packaging is amazing, and it lasted 5 days (with no top coat, mind you) before I noticed the first chip! My new fave. colour is “Not a Cloud in Sight” because it put an end to my desperate hunt for a nail polish in Tiffany Blue. I also like that the colours are not metallic/shiny and have no sparkle to them (this is my new preference).

#2 I am so proud of my dad for writing this post for the Villages of Hope-Africa blog.

Letting God be our Catcher: “We need to learn to live life with out stretched arms so that God can grab us before we fall.”

#3 HeyyyChristine on Instagram

If you’re into makeup and following MUAs on Instagram, I love following HeyyyChristine. She is a MAC makeup artist and posts some pretty great eye looks. I’ve also discovered some of my favourite lipsticks through her recommendations. Check her out: @heyyychristine

#4 This Article on Fitspiration

Originally published on Everyday Feminism (great site!) and cross-published on Libero Network this week (with permission, of course!) Melissa A. Fabello (follow her on Twitter, guys! @fyeahmfabello) lays out “the good, the bad, and the ugly” of Fitspiration. LOVE! (I also loved this guest post on Libero Network this week about surviving swimsuit season and loving your body).

#5 Camino chocolate bars!

camino chocolateThese were on sale at London Drugs 2/$5 and I had to try them – they are organic and fair trade and are sooooo good! I bought the classic dark and the coconut flavour (which unlike most coconut chocolate, tasted really natural). Definitely my new favourite!

Lastly, I thought this video from JLovesMac1 was great.

And I also found this video from BeautyCrush (she is awesome!) super helpful (drugstore skincare product review).

And This.
