26 Things I’ve Learned in 26 Years

As per tradition, here it goes…

  1. Trust your gut.
  2. Don’t be afraid to reinvent yourself; it’s part of life. 
  3. The type of people you surround yourself with will determine the type of person you will become.

  5. On Black Friday weekend…the savings are real. They’re so real.
  6. It’s not what you have, it’s what you give.
  7. The world can be a rough place–be gentle with yourself.
  8. Learn to have fun.
  9. There’s a difference between being wise with money and being cheap. Learn to budget.
  10. Knowledge is the enemy of fear.
  11. The most important thing when applying makeup: blend blend blend. (bonus: everyone needs a fan brush and a blending brush)
  12. Don’t over-selfie.
  13. Pets really are a person’s best friend. 
  14. Find a hobby.
  15. You can always count on Matthew McConaughey to take his shirt off.
  16. Intuitive Eating is freedom. 
  17. Tea leaves over tea bags.
  18. It’s better to be single than to be with the wrong person.
  19. Hot chocolate is best with coconut milk.
